Today’s featured ’12 Days of Indie Holiday Shopping’ shop is dejarnette new orleans. Katherine DeJarnette Babin, the designing force behind dejarnette new orleans, creates striking pieces with carefully selected materials such as vintage glass beads, lockets and brooches, semi-precious stones, metals and textiles, many of which were found in her native city of New Orleans. This is the kind of signature “wow” jewelry you add to your own collection or gift to your favorite jewelry diva.

I had so much trouble picking my favorites for gifting, because everything, and I do mean everything, is amazing. I did manage to pick out a few that really stand out; although, it was a bit like picking the hottest guy from a crowd made up of Johnny Depp, Ewan McGregor, Orlando Bloom, Jude Law & Clive Owen lookalikes, but here’s a few that really make a statement. The gorgeous green with Envy, the Blowing Bubbles blown glass beauty, Sherbert, Noix, the sliced wood Grow necklace and everything in Katherine’s signature Found Object collection.

Treat yourself or treat a friend, but head on over to dejarnette new orleans and use the coupon code holiday15 for 15% off of your entire order.

Leave a comment in the comments for this post with your favorite jewelry design from dejarnette new orleans for your chance to win the Large Bubbles necklace. One random commenter will win the prize. This contest ends November 28th at 2pm EST. THIS CONTEST HAS ENDED.

  1. I love the Envy necklace. What a great selection of unique and beautiful jewelry! I’m adding this to my favorites folder.

  2. Pick me! Pick me! I was always the last kid picked and, well, a bubble necklace might be just the thing to soothe my troubled psyche. Please?

  3. I love the dyed mop pendant, but I think my favorite is the clef de couer necklace. What a cool site–I just sent it to my husband so he can do some Christmas shopping. 😉

  4. my favorites are the blowing bubbles knecklace(because it makes me smile), and the antique key necklace which is really cool.

  5. Jen – Thanks so much for taking the time to compile all of these goodies from all of the fabulous artists! And to the artists – thank you for donating your items for Jen to share with all of her readers!

  6. The bubbles necklace looks like so much fun! I love, love all the Objet Trouve items. So hard to choose just one~ The crystal ball one is another great fun one. I really like the Madame (sold) one too.

  7. The rhinestone medallion is my favorite piece. However, I also really really like the large bubbles necklace and would love to win it since it would go with any color clothing. It is a very very nice piece of jewelry.

  8. This is my absolute favorite prize so far! The Bubble and Suds necklaces are beautiful! Love the iridescent finish of the Suds 🙂
Another favorite would have to be the tiny knot necklace. Subtle yet gorgeous.
    Thanks for the contest!

  9. The brown crochet necklace is beautiful, but I do love the found object jewelry too… Very interesting stuff!

  10. It’s so very hard to choose a favorite. I like so many of the designs. I love all the bubble necklaces, the cloisonne necklace, the envy necklace, the atom necklace, and the potpourri necklace. I think I would have to say that the small bubble necklace is my favorite though.

  11. Hi there! Am I the first to comment? Woo hoo! Anyway, I really like the “Carousel” necklace from the found object collection—and also “Vienna,” the little wiener dog!

  12. You’re right, it is really hard to choose! My real favorites were some of the sold pieces, but I love the wrought iron necklaces as well. I think “artifact” wins overall for me though.
