Fondue?

Fondue pot.

I was doing some cleaning this morning and came across this fondue pot I found at a yard sale years ago. It was buried in a cabinet in my kitchen where I put it with plans to do some research on fondue recipes. I’m a child of the 80’s and I remember fondue as a kid and how popular it was, so when I saw this bright yellow vintage enamel pot, I just had to have it. Of course, that was 5+ years ago.  Well, now I have a renewed interest in finding some fondue recipes in the hope of finding a good recipe for my next party.

So, can you recommend any good vegetarian fondue recipes?

  1. All you need are medium size pieces of chopped vegetables and either broth, oil or cheese. Dip your veggie pieces and cook away! You can even make your own vegetable broth for this.
What makes it interesting, of course, are the dipping sauces. Think homemade salad dressings for those.
