Porcelain Jewelry

I went looking for porcelain jewelry for a gift for a friend (I’m pretty sure she does not read my blog) and I thought I would share with you those shops that I bookmarked. Now, I just need to pick one…which I have to tell you is just so completely difficult. I also might not be able to give up my purchase when the time comes. ;)

Deck Yourself in Sk8te Accessories

I’ve been collecting recycled skateboard accessory shops for a while now and I thought it might be time to share them with you. The coolest of cool found objects, skateboard decks with their vibrant and graphically intense images just lend themselves to being remade into hip & fashionable accessories. The shops and designers I’ve featured below create everything from bags and jewelry to iPod covers and shoes and all are made from recycled boards. Enjoy!

New kitchen linens for spring!

Spring is bursting out all around and for me that means more entertaining. I personally hibernate all winter and figure most other people do too, but when spring comes around I feel so much more like having family and friends over. There’s something about more sunlight hours that puts me in a better mood and gives me more energy, both of which I need in order to do my ’spring cleaning’ to prepare for all my visitors. This year, when I’m shaking out the winter cobwebs, I think I want to shake out all my tired old kitchen linens and get some new ones to help bring the spirit of spring into my kitchen. Since we always end up hanging out in the kitchen anyway, some bright new linens will help liven up the party too.

Here are some of my favorites.

Green and Greener

I’m going green and greener today on Indie Fixx…that’s green, as in the color green—and greener, as in eco-green. I’ve compiled a list of goodies that is bound to make you green with envy (yes, today is also going to filled with clichés). Some of my finds are eco-indie products, because I know you all want to be more responsible shoppers. Other finds are just great green lovelies in honor of St. Patrick’s Day. Finally, some of my finds are both…green and green-er! Which ones are which????

Which plush should I get?

plush1.jpg

I need a little help. Okay, I needs lots and lots of help, but just a little bit of help with this particular thing. Remember, I mentioned I bought a Toddler Tote from One Little Monkey last week? Well, I want to fill it with some goodies for my niece’s 2nd birthday in March. I thought a cute little plush would be sweet. She’s been into taking care of a “baby” ever since her little sister was born this summer and she just loves anything adorable. She’ll even go, “Aww, so cute,” and I gotta tell you, that is just the cutest thing in the world.

So, help me narrow down which plush I should get from my choices above or suggest a new one.
