In addition to making some really gorgeous designs, Elisa is committed to creating her jewelry pieces using sustainable materials and processes. She uses only recycled, non-mined silver that was processed in an earth friendly refinery as well as vintage elements & has also eliminated most chemicals from her processing. I think that is awesome…jewelry that you can really feel good about wearing.

Slaughterhead is today’s 12 Days of Indie Holiday Shopping featured shop. Slaughterhead makes fun & functional wallets and pouches for both guys and girls from animal-friendly vinyl lined with re-purposed fabrics. I must confess that I own a Super Jumbo Slaughterhead Wallet and it is one of most prized possessions…it’s both visually appealing and very practical, which is just perfect for me.

Whether are you are gift buying for girls, guys or both, a Slaughterhead wallet or pouch would make a great gift choice. 12 Days of Indie Holiday Shopping 2009 – Mireio Designs

There are four down and eight more to go in the 12 Days of Indie Holiday Shopping countdown and giveaway extravaganza. Before I get to today’s shop I want to remind you that there’s still a little time to enter the Yorktown Road giveaway. The Supermaggie, gogovivi & Favor Jewelry giveaways have all ended though—I’m still waiting to hear back from the winner’s for those and will update you as soon as I do. So, what’s next?

12 Days of Indie Holiday Shopping 2009 – Yorktown Road

I am such a fan of Yorktown Road, the next 12 Days of Indie Holiday Shopping shop. It’s hard to believe that I haven’t treated myself to one or several of their items. Anyway, before I make this all about me….Yorktown Road, they make the most to die for accessories & housewares from hand-dyed linens & repurposed leathers. The colors of their linens are really superb, you must see for yourself what I’m talking about.

I don’t know who you are shopping for this holiday season (maybe yourself), but I’m pretty sure that you cannot go wrong gifting a Yorktown Road design. The only trouble you may run into will be topping yourself next year. I’m also sure that you wouldn’t mind winning some Yorktown Road goodies.

12 Days of Indie Holiday Shopping 2009 – Supermaggie

Hey kids, I’m back from my holiday break. I know I said I would post last Friday, but I was just enjoying my break too much hanging out with family & friends. I am back at work today though and ready to bring you the next 12 Days of Indie Holiday Shopping shop & giveaway.

Supermaggie is a 12 Days of Indie Holiday Shopping alumnus, having been involved since the beginning, and their original artist created tee designs are among the most unique & popular around. They are hands down my favorite tee shirt shop and I am also loving the new cropped leggings for women. You will also find plenty of designs for men as well as the most amazing felted scarves at Supermaggie.

12 Days of Indie Holiday Shopping 2009 – gogovivi

Today’s 12 Days of Indie Holiday Shopping shop is gogovivi. Gogovivi offers elegant and luxurious handbags, clutches, wallets & more. Kiley Ariail, the designer behind gogovivi, is an American expat from Portland, Oregon now living in China. So, instead of “Made in China” her bags are “Handmade in China”, which is so much more preferable!

I just love the silhouettes and the detailing of the gogovivi bags—they are both classic and modern at the same time. Favorites include the Simple Twist, Camellia & the Dumpling and I sure would be one happy camper if I found one of those designs under my tree!
