The 1st 12 Days of Indie Holiday Shopping shop I am featuring is Favor Jewelry (Etsy Shop). Favor Jewelry offers elegantly stunning designs that are a little bit of luxury at affordable prices…which means one does not have to wait for a special occasion to wear it. They are perfect for those special holiday parties though and not to mention every day with jeans and a tee.

12 Days of Indie Holiday Shopping 2009

It time that time of year again….no, not Thanksgiving, but it is once again time for 12 Days of Indie Holiday Shopping. This is the 3rd annual 12 Days and I would say that makes it a bonafide tradition here at Indie Fixx.

How does this 12 Days thing work, you ask. Well, every weekday between November 24th – December 11th (excluding Thanksgiving Day & the day after) I will be featuring one of my favorite indie shops. I will highlight goodies from their shops & sometimes share a coupon code. There will also be a giveaway. That means, every day a different shop and every day a new giveaway…for 12 days!

Participation in 12 Days is by invitation only—the participating shops were hand-picked by me–and the prizes they are offering are just amazing. Here’s who I have lined up for you:

We Love You GDad

I was sorta out of things and disorganized much of last week because my 86-year-old Granddad had major heart surgery on Wednesday. I’ve been visiting as much as possible and was a wreck until he got to that point that we knew he would probably be okay. He’s still in ICU, but it doing soooo much better. It’s going to be a long recovery process, but he’s got my uncle & and all of us grand-kids to bug him to get better. You can see the paper ‘We Love You’ banner I made to decorate his otherwise deary room.

As a result of my helping out with GDad, there may be some days that I am not around here at Indie Fixx, but don’t worry there will still be plenty of posts. Plus, this year’s 12 days of Indie Holiday Shopping giveaways will be starting this Wednesday, November 25th….you know you wanna stick around for that!

12 Days of Indie Holiday Shopping 2008: Supermaggie

Supermaggie is today’s ‘12 Days of Indie Holiday Shopping’ featured shop and let me tell you that is just so super terrific.

Supermaggie is made up of Maggie Kleinpeter & Michael Pittard. Maggie is the creative force and Michael does a little bit of everything. They are both super nice people as well.

At Supermaggie you will find some of the coolest tees around…seriously cool. Their tees are wearable works of art and there are styles for both men & women available. Maggie also makes the most stunning felted scarves. I’ve seen them in person and they are truly amazing and surprisingly soft.
