Indie Fixx offers affordable advertising to members of the independent design community, other businesses that support and offer services to indie businesses and those businesses that share and practice the ideals of the indie community.
Traffic & Readership:
Indie Fixx receives 75,000+ unique monthly visitors (Stats from awstats). From a recent survey, readers are 97% women and 66% read Indie Fixx every day to several times a week. 94% answered yes they have wanted products featured on or advertised on Indie Fixx. 37% have purchased a product featured on or advertised on Indie Fixx and 66% have clicked on banner ads on Indie Fixx.

1. Banner ads
- Premium 150×200 ATF (Above the fold) Ads - Featured Sponsors (Sept & Oct $90/per month – Nov & Dec $105/per month) - Only 3 spots available at any given time. Comes with ad tracking stats. These ads will appear at the very top of the page.Ads will rotate on the page within this category and last for one month. Reserve your spot below. - BTF (Below the fold) Ads – Gallery Sponsors (Sept & Oct prices are $45 & $55/per month – Nov & Dec prices are $50 & $60/per month) - These ads will appear just under the very top 3 ATF ads. There are 2 size option: 150×150 ($45 for Sept & Oct – $50 for Nov & Dec) and 150×200 ($50 for Sept & Oct – $60 for Nov & Dec). Comes with ad tracking stats. Ads will rotate on the page within this category and last for one month. Limited spots available. Reserve your spot below. - Add a Sponsored post to any banner – $50 – Only open to banner advertisers. Sponsored posts are a great way to add to your exposure and to also target feed readers. They are short posts (1 -2 paragraphs written by the editor) that highlight a few images from your site and are permanent and will not be deleted. Sponsored posts are always labeled as such. There’s a very limited number of sponsored posts open each month.

- Discounts are available for reservations of multiple months. Email for details.
- Banners are reserved on a first paid, first reserved basis.
- Ad Specs: Ads must be in jpg or gif format. Either static or animated is okay. File size should be no more than 60kb. If you need a banner, I also offer banner creation services as well.
The Indie Fixx Galleria is a showcase of handmade & indie (independently-made) goods. Think of it as an ‘indie mall’ featuring a juried mix of indie designers, crafters, artists & indie boutiques that carry indie-made goods. And now vintage goods too! Periodically throughout the year, I put together a new Galleria around a theme to provide a curated shopping experience, just like at ‘the mall’, but only featuring hand-made, independently made and vintage goods.

Fall Galleria – September 6th to November 4th – Apply now! All types of goods will be considered. All artists, designers, crafters and indie boutiques that create or carry handmade, vintage and/or indie made goods are welcome to apply. The cost is $25 to participate and the deadline to apply is September 3rd.
When applying, please specify which Galleria(s) you are applying for.
Criteria used in judging applicants include: product originality, quality of product, quality of photography, type of products, shopping experience and shop & product appeal among other attributes.
The goal of the Galleria is promote the individual participating shops and indie shopping in general. I aim to provide a new venue for shops to publicize their products while encouraging shoppers to expand their shopping horizons and support small independent businesses as opposed to big mega-chains. There are no actual products available for sale at the Galleria; instead it is only a showcase of goods offered by the participating shops.
3. Joie Mag
Joie is a new free online magazine that is all about the art of joyful living. It’s a lifestyle mag and will cover many of the same topics as Indie Fixx: art, craft, living, design, fashion, etc., but will allow for expanded coverage as well as LOTS more eye candy and each issue will be centered around a theme.
Advertising spots are open for Issue 2 (mid-October) and there are actually 4 ways to advertise:
- Double Page Ad & a clickable link ($120)
- Full Page Ad & a clickable link ($60)
- 1/2 Page Ad & a clickable link ($30)
- Classified Ad & a clickable link ($15)
