The 16th Annual Art Star Craft Bazaar is coming up on Mother’s Day weekend, May 11 + May 12 at Penn’s Landing in Philadelphia, PA.
The Art Star Craft Bazaar is not only one of the longest running indie crafts around, it’s also one of the best curated shows. I am also super impressed with the variety and quality of the indie vendors and artisans at the show.
This year, the duo behind Art Star (Erin Waxman and Megan Brewster) have chosen a line-up of over 100 thoughtfully curated handmade vendors, including over 40 fresh, new vendors. The wares offered will include jewelry, pottery, housewares, clothing, accessories, art goods, paper goods, plush, baby & kid gifts, and more.
I have been attending the ASCB since year one and I look forward to once again spending at least a few hours on Saturday delighting in all of the creativity!
Some of my returning favorites include the following vendors:
Emily Uchytil Art – I purchased three prints–an owl, a fox, and a rabbit–from her at the Art Star Holiday show in 2018 and I am looking to add to my collection.
Squirrel Tacos – I have my eye on purchasing one of these divine papercut pieces for a while now.
Horrible Adorables – a long time favorite of plush-sculptural enthusiasts.
