The past couple of years I haven’t been all that into decorating for the holidays. I know, hard to believe?! Although I am a non-religious person, I culturally celebrate Christmas and it has been my favorite holiday all of my life. The past few years though, I’ve felt more like the Grinch than Cindy Lou Who. Very weird for me. I think I might have gotten my Holiday Mojo back though. I am finding myself thinking about making holiday gifts and decorations…and that’s a very good sign.
I haven’t had a tree for a few years, and I am thinking, this year, I will get one. I am tired of all my old ratty Hodge-podgydecorations though. But, I’m not going to spend a bunch of money on buying new ones, so instead I will make my own. I don’t know that there’s enough time to re-do the whole tree, but I’ve still got a month to get my act together.
