For all you West Coast Crafty readers, Susan Beal fans and/or geek crafters, Susan’s latest book, World of Geekcraft, is out and ready for your geek making. It’s filled with all kinds of geektastic projects (25 to be exact) created by Susan and some of her geek-crafty friends and I love it!

While I await Firefly to come back on the air, Avengers to come to my local movie theater, Psylocke costume materials to arrive, as I watch a cowboy bounty hunter fly through space I want to be getting my craft on with this book. I believe this book will further allow me to express my love of all things dorky, geeky, nerdy, and odd! And Cheers to everyone else who has posted with the desire to obtain this book and shout out, “Yeah, I’m a geek and I make stuff too!”

  6. Okay, so I have a couple nephews (and brother-in-laws) who are getting a bit old for my crafting, but this would be perfect for inspiring gifts for them. The star wars terrariums are perfect! Can’t wait to see what else is in there!

  12. I love it when geeks and nerds take a little time away from discussing why Joss Whedon is god, the Lord of the Rings is the new guide to life, and Han Solo is the biggest heart-throb in the universe to actually make something.

    I’d love this book because I just have to see if there’s any Dr. Who geekery that I haven’t tried yet!
