May Day

This weekend was the start of my favorite half of the year–the months May – October are when I flourish. I love the warm and hibernate in the cold and May is usually when it’s finally warm enough for me to come out of my cave. By the end of October, it’s cold again and I’m sad. 🙁

Also this weekend, a certain international bit of news sort of overshadowed the start of my warm,  but I’m still having my own little May Day celebration today and sharing some pictures from my visit to Longwood Gardens on Friday.

  1. How lovely. Longwood is one of my favorite places on earth. I am guessing you are close to Philadelphia (Art Star and Longwood). Have you ever been to the Morris? It is my favorite garden in the area. I highly recommend it.

  2. I too love the warm of May, before the oppressive heat we have here in the South during to summer. Lovely Garden.
