Here’s another lovely 2011 calendar you could win. This one is called Daylight Savings: An Observer’s Year in England and is by the artist Eireann Lorsung of Bara. Eireann created the calendar from sketches of her adopted home of Nottingham, England, which she came to love after living in the US & France. It’s really a very beautiful calendar!     I love all of her work, it reminds me of my grandfather’s art. The “robins | foxes | trees | a set of cards” is a favorite though!

    Quintessentially English and very beautiful. The foxes and the poem captured my heart, although I do find myself going back to her Paris: a guide.

    Oooh, what a beautiful calendar! And all of her images are wonderful, but I have to say I really love “this is winter.” I’m in the winter/holiday spirit right now and I found those images particularly inspiring.
