Autumn inspiration

There’s an undeniable chill to the air and I must put aside any notions I have that it’s still Indian Summer here in the Mid-Atlantic. Autumn is here, and with yesterday being the end to daylight savings time, winter is hot (or cold) on its heels.  I’m making it a point to enjoy all the sunlight and temps over 50 degrees Fahrenheit that I can.

Here’s some Autumn inspiration from the Indie Fixx Flickr Group and my Flickr contacts for all of us facing winter in the Northern Hemisphere.

  1. Thanks Jen for including me in such good company! Autumn has been unusually mild in Nova Scotia but the roses are happy and they look just as nice with a golden backdrop.

  2. Such lovely photos! We finally got a taste of cold starting this Friday after being in the 80s here in North Florida. This weekend it hoovered around the 50s in the evening and 60s during the day with a wind chill factor. That’s cold for us! It’s going to be a long winter…
