Nowhere Nerds…2 unemployed artists on a journey to find a life of their own

Speaking of car trips, I thought I would share Lindsey Albritton’s article in the Summer issue of Joie. Lindsey wrote about planning her cross-country road trip that she took after losing her job last year. the treip was more than just a way to see some sites, but is was also a vehicle for Lindsey to renew herself and rediscover her dreams and goals.  Lindsey (along with her partner, Matt) chronicles her adventures on the blog Nowhere Nerds. She is also a graphic artist, photographer and artist and she shares her work on her & Matt’s website, Fallen Peach.

Read about the trip planning as well as the purpose of the trip in Joie below and then head on over to Nowhere Nerds to read all the trip itself.

I’d also like to mention Stacy Kathryn Holst, the artist who illustrated the Nowhere Nerd’s article. You can see more of her illustration, design and fine art on her website.

Btw, the Holiday issue of Joie is coming out in late October (just in time for the holiday season) and I am now accepting reservations for ad spots. There are several different choices to fit your budget. You can see my rates and specs here (1/2 page ad spots are full). Expected readership is 200,000+. Email to reserve your spot and for more info
