My sister is a craft fanatic so this would be a perfect gift for her
Love the large bags – perfect for mobile but still large projects.
I adore Amy Butler, and everything she touches! Still a beginner sewer, but this would inspire me to learn!
without sounding like a total suck up I discovered Amy Butler 2 1/2 years ago, she literally inspired me to start sewing again. I honestly started surfing and the crafts soon followed. Our attic which we did is covered in Amy’s fabrics that I ordered all on line from various places(ebay/etsy). So would I give her book away? hell no it would fit lovingly in my sewing/craft corner of the attic!
Ohhh, Amy Butler bags! Love them! I would gift this to my mother who is extremely talented…and then tell her which bag I want!
Love Amy Butler and would love to make bags as gifts for friends.
I love Amy Butler bags. They’re so colorful and joyful!!!! I want to learn how to make them and it would be just great to have her book (specially because I can’t get it here in Brazil).
Cheers!
My sister and I have always liked sewing together since we were kids. I prefered sewing from original designs I dreamt up in my head, which didn’t always turn out so successful. She was more inclined to follow instructions and learned far more of the basics before heading off to fashion design school to become a real pro. As adults we’ve gotten together from time to time to sew bags – who doesn’t love bags! Now she’s getting ready for her second baby and just bought a house, further away from me, and will be moving soon. I’d love to have one more hurrah of bag making – courtesy of this beautiful looking book – with my sis before she heads into the next stage of mommyhood!
I LOVE Amy Butler, and those bags are beautiful! I’d love to be able to make them for myself and others as gifts (Christmas is right around the corner, after all!).
Thanks for the great giveaway!
I will no longer be ashamed of my bag obsession!
Love sewing bags. Amy Butler always has great ideas.

Love, love, love Amy Butler. Love her fabric and her patterns are gorgeous too! Actually, I’d just love to be her best friend and move right on in to her guest room so I could work in that lovely studio of hers. How could you NOT make gorgeous creations in THAT studio? OK – sounds a bit creepy – but you know what I mean, right? I’d love to win this book! Thanks for the chance!

Amy Butler is awesome. I, on the other hand, am sewing challenged. I have had a sewing machine for about 10 years and I used to make a valiant effort at pillows and the like but I lost motivation recently. I have been looking for something to get me back in front of the machine for awhile…this book might just do it.
Love the bright colors and beautiful patterns of Amy Butler. Would keep the book and just enjoy the beautiful pictures.

Every woman needs a bit of the beautiful and creative in her life. Books and projects like these give me the sense of power that belongs to those who strive endlessly to create a beautiful home and family amid the coas of life with little children. I’d put the book on the coffee table, turn the living room into a sewing room and add to the chaos for a bit. Out if it all will come a shining jewel that will affirm once again that I Can DO IT!! I can create something BEAUTIFUL!!
wow I love bags ad Amy Butler design and fabrics. I would love to get my hands on this book!
Would love to win this to send to a friend who is having a bit of a rough go in life right now– but has started to learn to sew… Bags are such a great project for all skill levels–and I know she would put it to good use!
Thanks so much for doing this giveaway! <3
I’ve known Amy Butler’s designs through scrapbooking. Now I can try her designs through sewing, too!
I went into a local sewing store about 6mths ago. One of the projects was an Amy Butler pattern. I immediately signed up for sewing classes so I could learn how to make that bag. I am ready to make her bags. All her projects and frabics are so beautiful!
I love Amy Butler. Her patterns and colorways are so lovely! I would love to try some of these bag projects to stash all my goodies in!

hi 🙂 I have a crush on bags! Have fun on your vacation! xo, Thili
would love the book as I’m not very good at sewing (yet) and that little clutch just stole my heart (and I’m a ninja, that’s a serious achievement in itself 😉
I would love to win Amy Butler’s Style Stitches for a number of reasons; firstly i have an obsession with bags, and clothes in general. If i see anything original and stylish i pounce but also because of my love for sewing and creating my own accessories. I love any opportunity to get creative and use all the funky fabrics i have in my art cupboard. Thank you again feed your soul for giving me inspiration 🙂 xoxx
I knew how to work a sewing machine for a long time, but I always felt intimidated by patterns. Then I used an Amy Butler pattern for a bag I liked and after that, I bought both of her books.
When I sew, I’m usually making gifts for other people. I would definitely keep the book myself if I won, but use the patterns in it to make presents for people I know who love pretty things.
I’d definitely give this book to my mom–she LOVES Amy Butler and making bags.
I’d definitely keep it for myself 🙂 I love her bags and it would be great to have a whole bunch of patterns together in a book for easy reference. Will be crossing my fingers and toes!
I would like to win this book for the pattern to the big beautiful carry everything bag in the second image.
OOOOh! I am 39 of 40 on the library hold list for this AMAZING book! I am simply not that patient. It might be a year before I even get it in my hot little hands. Perhaps if I WIN, I won’t have to lurk the book store anymore….
I absolutely love Amy Butler… but I have actually never owned any of her books! I would love to change that! 🙂
Love the bags & the fabrics! I would definitely be keeping the book for myself!
I love the images from the book and have been in love with Amy Butler fabric for a while now…my heart is aflutter :). Here’s to hoping I win. I have been wanting to brush up on my post-middle-school-home-ec sewing skills so this would be just the push I need to find a gently used affordable sewing machine!
I’m new to sewing and these look like fun projects! Plus I don’t think anyone wants any of my handmade clothing items for christmas (yet!) but i’m sure they’d love one of these bags!
I’ve never heard of her, but those are adorable and my mom would love me to make them for her 🙂
I would love to win this to give to my neighbour who has just started her own business as a work at home mum sewing totes for other mums!
I love Amy Butler!! I met her at Scrapfest a few years ago and and I think she’s fabulous…I would love to win a copy of this, so I can make some awesome stuff for my mom (who is a serious purse/bag fanatic!).
I have been sewing for about a year now and ever made a bag, but always envied the girls who made Amy Butler bags in my sewing class! I plan on growing my skills and I hope Amy Butler bags are my next everest !
I would love to give this book to my mom. she loves making bags.
why would I love this book – I love bags! I have been making bags, pouches, and vessels that hold things since I was old enough to wield a needle – with a small break for “i’m too teenager-y” to sew. And Amy Butler designs cool bags (and fabric, and papers, etc). Would I keep the book – Yes! but I’d share the bounty with others in the form of completed bags 🙂
I love Amy Butler fabrics, but I’ve never made any of her patterns. I’d love to try one (or more)!
The goal is to have a completely handmade Christmas and these patterns would be the perfect help towards that goal!
I love bags and have made some of my own. I’dlike to venture into some morecomplex ones and this book seams to be just what I need.
Ooh I love Amy Butler! I would probably keep this book for myself and share it with my sister, we’re trying to learn how to sew!
I would love to have this! it would be the perfect solution to Christmas shopping nightmares!
Ok. I confess, I spend alot of money of purses. And I spend alot of money on craft supplies. So why not do both at once?
My friend and I are currently taking a sewing basics class. The project for the class is a very strange bag – I’ll probably never use it. These Amy Butler bags, however, I would use *non-stop*! And after completing this class, I’ll actually have the skills to make them. 🙂
I love Amy Butler! Her fabrics alone are the reason I started to sew. Such an inspiration 🙂 I would keep a copy for myself, for sure. Thanks for the chance to win.
Beatiful,i love Amy Buttler
Baci Fabrizia
I love Amy Butler & I love bags! This book is perfect!

I LOVE LOVE Amy Butler and I <3 the purses and bags in this book!
I think I would give the gift to my Mom. She’s my sewing idol, and she loves Amy Butler stuff (Almost as much as I do!) But I can’t lie, I would definitely peak through it a bit before I passed it along 🙂
Learning to sew more than square things and see some things in this book that may motivate me to stray….
Yes, I’d love to win this for myself!
Wow browsing through the pics makes me want to learn how to sew in order to make one these gorgeous bags! I am new to sewing crafts but after looking at how easy it can be and fun i am so asking my mother-in-law to teach me!
Beautiful bags, beautiful book! I would love to have this for inspiration and try my hand at making one!
i’m just starting out with sewing and i got the amy book in stitches and it was SOOOO helpful!!! i would love this book to help me take on the bag world!
I love Amy Butler, but have never made one of her bags – I would love to win this book, and give it a go! Thanks so much!
I learned to sew as a kid, but my skills have lapsed. I’ve just started taking a sewing class to refresh my memory and have fantasies about making bags for everyone I know for Christmas this year. This book would be a great help! And I adore Amy Butler’s fabrics and designs!
I love love love Amy Butler. I especially love her patterns. I would keep the book so that I could make the bags to give to my friends! I have been so excited that the designers are doing laminated cottons, and they are grrrrreat for bags! I live where there is snow and I have small kids, so a wipe clean bag is awesome. Oh how I want to win this!!
love, love, love making bags
I would love to own this book! I make a lot of bags as presents and this would help me make different prettier bags! What beautiful bags. What beautiful fabric! Makes me want to run to the fabric store too!
I would love a copy of this for my 16 year old daughter. She is a budding designer and seamstress 🙂
I love Amy Butler fabrics and I love Amy Butler bags too. I have one book and some of her patterns, I do not have this book, so it would be great if I win!
Yesterday I sat at the bookstore with this and another book on my lap, trying hard to decide which to buy. This one is beautiful — and I love the projects.
Ultimately I had to choose just one so I went with the other book because it had different kinds of projects — not only bags but housewares and toys and clothes and … money is tight right now so I figured I’d better go with the book that would be most versatile for making gifts for family and friends in the future.
But I was sad to put this beauty back on the shelf because I’d set out yesterday specifically for the purposes of buying it.
So this one I would keep for myself! (Although I’d be happy to make gifts for people out of it as well.)
The purse trimmed with those little pom pom things (not pictured above) is so cute! It might be beyond my skill level at the moment but it’s something to aspire to.
Yes, Amy Butler. I’ve always wanted one of her bags and now I can make my own? Wild. I like the binder-style for the book, and you’re absolutely right. Eye candy. I think I’d give the book to my friend Donna who can sew anything in a matter of seconds.
Wow! Bags are my favorite thing to sew, hands-down, and Amy Butler’s modern style has always been right up my alley. Please pick me!
