  1. To me the Lists Book would be my favorite although being a bookaholic I’m sure I would enjoy them all.

  2. I actually bought Sewing Bits and Pieces because I have such a stash for fabric, so if I win, then I’ll gift it on to someone else. I love it. So I think the next one I’d like to look at would be Small Stash Sewing. Gotta use up this stash before we move next year! Cindy

  3. I would love the Homemade Fun book so that I can have project ideas to do with my daughter. The “art” gene seems to have skipped me, but I am still willing to give it a try. Also, I think the Lists book would be a fun read, I haven’t been able to really indulge in art appreciation since college.

  4. I think the Mini Quilts book sounds great. I need some things to hang on my bare walls. πŸ™‚

  5. all the books sound like fun, especially since i’ve been wanting to learn how to sew, but the lists book would be my favorite i think. looking into other people’s heads, seeing their thought processes, can be so very interesting!!!!

  6. I’m a librarian in a small rural library in southern Maryland. I am loving ALL these books for our collection, especially Homemade Fun by Rae Grant and Sewing Bit and Pieces by Sandi Henderson. Homemade Fun because so many of the folks using the library are looking for easy, fun, crafty, and inexpensive projects they can do at home with thier own kids. Lots of day care providers and teachers of young kids also come to the library looking for ideas for their lessons or after-school projects. The sewing book looks awesome for the homemade crafters wanting some new ideas or to branch out in unexpected ways. Thanks for bringing these titles to us in the blog. They all look deliciously readable!

  7. the Handmade fun: 10 crafts to do with kids looks really interesting. I’m been searching recently for a book I can get some ideas from. I think the cover looks so sweet and vintage! I’m really into vintage!!!

  8. i like the “Sewing Bit and Pieces: 35 Projects Using Fabric Scraps” best. i love all craft books, but because of doing the crafts, i always have pieces left and don’t want to throw away. this looks like a solution to my problem.
    thanks for the great contest.

  9. I think the top of my list would be “Sewing bit and pieces”. I save all my scraps from every project I do (this is adding up to a whole lotta scraps!). This book sounds like it could direct me into some awesome projects using all of these scrapy pieces ( I also colllect old table clothes and other vintage materials). I know we are only suppose to pick one book, but the “Homemade fun” book sounds really cute too! I have a 4yr old who loves to craft!
Thanks again for sharing your great treasures with us all! Good luck to everyone!

  10. Aw it’s only open to Americans… good luck to everyone! Whoever wins is lucky! I’ve got to pick some of these books up. Great giveaway!

  11. Homemade Fun sounds perfect for my family. I have two daughters and another on the way, so kid friendly activities are important to me. I love crafting and we support handmade as much as we can, so teaching the girls how to make things themselves is a big deal.

  12. I would definitely enjoy “Sewing Bit and Pieces: 35 Projects Using Fabric Scraps” the most because of my love for and obsessiveness about keeping small fabric scraps “just in case” I might ever use them. I find it hard to throw anything away!

  13. How cool is this? The homemade fun book immediately caught my eye because it reminded me of my childhood. My little brother and I always chose books like that on our weekly trips to the local library and those memories mean so much to me. Thanks for holding this great giveaway!

  14. Homemade Fun: 101 Crafts and Activities to Do with Kids is the book I am most interested in. I teach elementary school, and a few times a year we visit a nearby retirement home and bring them handmade gifts. This book would be a great resource!!

  15. Mini Quilts is the most interesting to me because I’m just starting to foray into making Mini Art Quilts, so it’d be the most useful for me in that venture. πŸ™‚

  16. “Whip Up Mini Quilts” sounds absolutely amazing. I was recently taught how to quilt, and making a bunch of little wall-hangings/ pillow covers is an intriguing idea. However, every one of those books looks awesome!!

  17. I would love to win any of these creative books! The lists one sounds so interesing to me because i love list-making and this take on it is so fun!

  18. Love the Lists book. What a wonderful way to read history, reminds me of the book Salt, which told the history of the world through such a common home condiment. (Is salt a condiment?) Anyways, I’m also obsessed with lists, supposedly people who make lists are generally more motivated and happy than others.

The whole lot looks lovely though!

  19. My fave book would be sewing bits and pieces b/c I am homeschooling and teaching my kids to sew so this would make a great book to get some ideas from. πŸ™‚ I love all the books…. thanks for hosting this giveaway! )

  20. I would die for the Whip up mini quilts. I am going to get a sewing machine from a friend of mine, and I love modern quilts, and I could really use this book to learn making them.

  21. Homemade Fun . . . This book sounds perfect. I have eight grandchildren and we all get together once per week to craft and are always looking for new ideas. Thanks for the chance to win.

  22. Ohhhh I’ve commented here before about my book fetish/addiction. The sewing books look fun, but “Lists” would just be wonderful. I like to make lists of what books I want to read:)

  23. My daughter LOVES to make crafts so I think she’d LOVE the Homemade Fun book and it’d be a great addition to our homeschooling library. *I* would love the Whip up Mini Quilts book – I love the idea of a mini quilt but Ive been too timid to try one on my own!

  24. Oh the list book – hands down. I’ve got an OCD-level obsession with list making and love to see how others manage their lists. There is an art in there! All the books sound lovely though.

  25. So many choices. I like them all. But the fat quarter looks like the one I would use the most. I buy so many quarters and need some new ideas.

  26. I would love all of them but Homemade Fun is the one that sounds most interesting to me. I’m always looking for fun things to do with my daughter, nieces, and nephews.

  27. do i seriously have to pick one???? they all sound fantastic! i smitten with lists and have many sewing aspirations. thank you for the opportunity to enter in this sweet giveaway!

  28. All of them sound awesome, especially since I’m trying to launch a store on Etsy (whenever that happens!), but I’m especially enamored with the idea of the Lists book– I love lists, I’m constantly writing lists, and it would be awesome to see what other people have to list!

    ~:)

  29. This one is a toss up for me. I love the Lists book, I’m a total list maker!! Reading lists that famous artists and creators have made would be so entertained to me! On the other hand, I have 4 nieces and nephews, and I’m the crafty aunt, so the Homemade Fun book could provide a lot of new project ideas for me to do with the kids. Great giveaway!!

  30. I think the list book sounds awesome. I’m a list maker and I bet the book is funny and inspring. Sounds very cool!

  31. Definitely the crafts with kids, since I have four and they all love crafting with me…. but all sound sooooo good!

  32. As an art teacher, and lover of vintage images, I would love to have Homemade Fun – but as an artist I would Really love to have “Lists”!! Which I meant to order when it first came out – and haven’t gotten around to doing yet – unfortunately the story of me little life!

  33. Sewing Bit and Pieces…because who doesn’t have a pile of scrap fabric just waiting to be transformed into something amazing?

  34. I thing “Sewing Bit and Pieces: 35 Projects Using Fabric Scraps” looks like something I NEED! I, like most sewers have a ton of scraps and can’t bear to get rid of them! But I think my kids would have their eyes on “Homemade Fun: 101 Crafts and Activities to Do with Kids”. I’ll have to be sure to check into these!

  35. the bits and pieces book and the small stash book would both be great for me. i am a saver–i hate to waste good fabric–and i love combing thrift stores for bits of feed sack fabric, so i would love some projects to showcase all of the little swatches of fabric i’ve collected.

  36. this is the best giveaway ever! i’m completely addicted to craft books. it’s hard to choose but i’d say whip up mini-quilts. i was eyeing it the last time i was at the bookstore and i’m really hoping to become a better sewer πŸ™‚

  37. WHAAAT, you’re not keeping the Lists book! I’m the author and it’s fun to read these comments. I’d be happy to give out a second copy to someone who really wants the book. I also make baby quilts and would be thrilled to win the mini quilts book.

  38. The list book. I’m a Virgo. As much as I LOVE the sound of the sewing scrap book I have a type A personality, A+ blood and an organisation fiend. I need that book. I will be a less complete person without it *eye twitch*…

  39. Small bits, either as an actual small quilt or as using small pieces to create a whole are what I find appealing about this selection. Thanks for sharing the love.

  40. Small Stash Sewing is just up my alley as I have a cupboard overflowing with left over scraps of fabric just begging to be made into something beautiful.

  41. these to do books look great! the lists one could definitely help me a lot and i know a few people who could learn a lot from the sewing one, since why not do it yourself when you can?!

  42. I actually think I could a bit of all of the books. I have two young boys, so the Homemade Fun would be a great one to have. I have a ton of scraps, so the scrap one would be good. I could go on … but I won’t bore you all.
Thanks for offering this give away, very generous of you!

  43. I think Small Stash Sewing…mainly because I am always looking at how cute all the fat quarters are…and I can only come up with bibs. πŸ™‚ Would Love all these books. Thanks for the chance

  44. I would love the one about scraps or the fat quarters one. I’m at a basic sewing level so small projects are my favorite!

  45. Seriously? Pick just ONE?!?!?! They all sound wonderful!

But I have to admit, the Small Stash Sewing would probably be the most useful because I have toooooo many fat quarters lying about. They’re gorgeous but I need a project for them!

And then the Mini Quilts because with a preschooler and a baby on the way, projects that are finished quickly are always welcome.

Oops! That was more than one. Sorry!

    Thanks for the giveaway!

  46. Wow! What a generous giveaway. I would lovwe to win the mini quilt book. I have just started quilting and love working on smaller quilting projects. It would be great to branch out and try something a little more artistic.

  47. I’d love “Sewing Bit and Pieces: 35 Projects Using Fabric Scraps”, since I have a major stash of fabric scraps and could really use some new idea’s and projects for them.

  48. I think that the book using fabric scraps would be the best for me! I buy lots of half yards and quarters for smaller projects, and I have a TON of little pieces that I don’t want to part with… but don’t have a project for right now… so they sit. This book really sounds perfect, especially in conjunction with the fat quarter book!

  49. I would love to have this stack of books. I think I would start with homemade fun. I’ve heard great reviews and with four littles and one more month of summer — well, my reasoning is probably obvious.

  50. For sure “Homemade Fun 101 Craft and Activities to do with Kids” by Rae Grant.
With 11 grandchildren there is no such thing as too many ideas to keep them intertained on those days they can’t
go outside because rain storms, snowstorms, or high humidity and hot sun.
Or just those days when you try to keep them quiet and occupied because of tummy aches, cold or flu.

  51. ugh. I am so torn! I have been following the whip-up mini quilts month over at whipup.net and it look so great! BUT…. ‘Small Stash Sewing’ and ‘Sewing Bit and Pieces’ look wonderful too! all three would a great way to conquer all the bits and bobs of fabric that I have lying around and can’t seem to let go of!

  52. They all sound interesting, but perhaps the one that sounds the MOST interesting is Sewing Bit and Pieces: 35 Projects Using Fabric Scraps. That is because I am the sort of person who is always keeping little fabric scraps withouth ever having enough ideas for what to do with them. A close runner up for MOST interesting is Homemade Fun: 101 Crafts and Activities to Do with Kids because I love family-oriented crafts books.

  53. Oh what a wonderful give-a-way. All of the books sound fantastic. I would have to say my favorite is “Homemade Fun 101 Crafts and Activities to Do with Kids”. My kids are always crafting with me and it is nice to have new ideas. Thank you for sponsoring such a great give-a-way!

  54. Oh all those books are amazing but I’d love to win Melissa’s book ‘Small Stash Sewing’! I read her blog and love how creative she is. Plus, I have quite a few ‘designer fat quarters’ that I could totally use! πŸ˜‰ Thanks!
    lorepuckett at verizon dot net

  55. I’d have to go with Homemade Fun, though it was a hard choice- They all sound so fun! But in the end, my heart goes to crafting with my kids. πŸ˜€

    Thanks for the giveaway!

  56. Something for everyone… and I would choose:
‘Small Stash Sewing: 24 Projects Using Designer Fat Quarters’ because I am in a Stash Buster Club but really need ideas to make things with them because they are piling up. Gosh, if my husband saw how many fat quarters are stashed…. please pick me!!

  57. These books are all inspiring but Homemade Fun sounds just perfect for our little family. Fun and made at home like the rest of us. Thanks.

  58. I’d love the mini quilts book–I’ve seen quite a few of the projects on assorted blogs–they’re super cute, and probably a lot more manageable than a full sized quilt. Thanks for the chance to win!

  59. i’ve had my eye on that “whip up mini quilts” book since it came out! there are so many great things in it, because i like home crafts that are functional.

  60. What a great give away!! I think the mini quilt books sounds the most interesting, I’ve just started my first foray into quilting and the thought of small, quick projects sounds so appealing. Quilts are a lot of work, fun work, but work nonetheless.
    Cheers!

  61. Wow! What an inspirational stash of books. With a 6 month old little girl, these titles sound manageable for a beginner sewer and life-long list maker. Thanks!

  62. Homemade Fun … I have a full time job and three kids. LOL.
However, the ones showing how to use scrap fabric would also be wonderful for ME. I want to sew more and maybe, just maybe it would get me going.

  63. I’m drawn to “Small Stash Sewing” – I tend to find some excellent funky remnants at the fabric store, so it would be wonderful to have some new inspiration for those.

  64. They are all currently in my amazon shopping cart…would love to give mini quilts to my Mother who just started quilting, I think she would just love it and they appear to be easy to start and finish!

  65. I make a lot of lists, so I would have to say Lists: To-dos, Illustrated Inventories, Collected Thoughts, and Other Artists’ Enumerations from the Collections of the Smithsonian Museum would be my choice!

  66. Small Stash sounds fabulous to me! I have a … problem with purchasing collections of fat quarters then not knowing what to do with them!

  67. This bundle of books sounds great! The most interesting to me would be Sewing bits and pieces. You can never have enough ideas on using scraps.

  68. my favorite book is Lists: To-dos, Illustrated Inventories, Collected Thoughts, and Other Artists’ Enumerations from the Collections of the Smithsonian Museum- by Liza Kirwin and published by Princeton Architectural Press. it is my favorite because i am also a list maker and it is alwayswonderful to learn about lists for they are so helpful in organizing mt life, but really all the books are wonderful especially the craft books because so offten i suffer for lack of ideas

  69. I have actually beΓ©n wanting to buy Melissa Averinos’ Small Stash Sewing. I have so many gorgeous fabrics (many of them from her Sugar Snap line, and many just in FQs) and would love to see what quirky projects she has in there… Though I would love a peek at every book there! Thanks for the chance Jen!

  70. homemade fun sounds excellent! I like crafts myself and I think this would provide some great ways to share that with my little sisters.

  71. BOOKS!!! Love them πŸ™‚

I would love to see this one: Whip Up Mini Quilts. I have made a couple of minis this year and I love the (relative) instant gratification! It is easier to quilt and bind and that makes it easier to finish. I have a few big ones that are still flimsies!!

Thank you for the wonderful give away and I wish I had publishers sending ME free books all the time! hehehe

    SheilaC

  72. “Small stash sewing”, because I don’t have that much fabric πŸ™‚ But all of them sounds great.. so actually not that easy to choose.

  73. I would LOVE to win these books, especially the two projects with scraps, because I have a ton of scraps and want to put them to good use! Thank you!

  74. I’m thinking sewing bits and pieces would be the one. I have lots of fabric thats doing nothing.

  75. All of these titles sound fantastic, but I’m very interested in the crafting with kids book. I just had a baby in March, so my sewing and crafting is getting rather kid-centric and I suspect will be for some time!

  76. Really hard to decide…but I guess the fabric scraps would be my favorite, but I would love to win these books

  77. I have had my eye on Melissa Averinos’ book for quite some time! Sandi Henderson’s book sounds great, too… A good portion of my fabric stash is bits and pieces.

  78. Small Stash Sewing!! I have so many random fat quarters that I picked up because they ‘look pretty’, that I don’t know what to do with them all! I would love to have a book that shows me how…as well as all of the other fantastic-looking books!

  79. This is a tough one. Currently I am possessed by the idea of making quilts and am in process on my first quilt. Therefore, the Mini Quilts book has special appeal. However, the anthropologist (recently graduated) in me is completely taken with List. I love the idea of what a list can reveal about a person, place, and time. That is truly fascinating to me. Now my fingers are crossed. Thanks for the faboo chance at a stack of books.

  80. What a great collection of books! I am especially intrigued by the Small Stash Sewing book, as I often see collections of gorgeous fat quarters but don’t know what to do with them.

  81. I love the Homemade Fun book … my daughter is just at the right age where she is stating to love crafts. I would really like to be able to share these projects with her!

  82. I like them all but I’m most interested in the “Whip up Mini Quilts” I have been obsessed with learning how to quilt and I think this book would be right up my isle.

    Thanks for doing the giveaway!

  83. I think it’s a tie between Small Stash Sewing and Sewing Bits and Pieces. I have so many scraps of fabric that I just can’t bare to throw away, but I also don’t know what to do with them! These two books would surely help my whittle my stash while giving me a fresh use for the various cottons, satins, upholstry fabrics, and other scraps that have been pining for some pinning, cutting, and sewing! Thanks for holding this great give-away!

  84. I would love to read the “Handmade Fun” book. I have a 2-year-old son, and would love some inspiring new ideas for craft projects we can work on together. I feel like kids today don’t get enough time and don’t have enough outlets for creative and imaginative play. This book can help move the needle in the other direction!

  85. I would love, love, love the mini quilt book! Growing up, my grandmother always made flower garden quilts. I use to scatter the flowers all around the living room and jump from flower to flower…”lily pad style”. I have always wanted to make a quilt of my own and recently had the idea to start with a “mini”. I have already purchased some material for it. Would love to have the books!

  86. I love the idea of the “Sewing Bits & Pieces” book — I desperately need to pare down my monstrous collection of fabric ends before it takes over my living room and starts demanding tribute.

  87. The whip up mini quilts is one i have had my eye on for awhile! No one sells it locally. I have checked all the stores and quilt shops! All of them look to be amazing books and I am constantly looking for ideas!!!

  88. The Lists book sounds fascinating to me. I am constantly making lists, so it would be fun to see what kind of lists other people make. πŸ™‚

  89. oh my, all these books look so fun! But I think favorite is “Homemade Fun” because I have a 3 and 1 yr old who keep me looking for fun projects. =)

  90. I just started sewing again and have fallen in love with the idea of making quilts so i think the mini quilts would be lovely. but my fav, that i’ve actually looked through it at the “library” (bookstore) is Homemade Fun. Oh how fun!

  91. Oooo I love the Lists book! I am an avid list maker and it would be lovely so see what such great artists jotted down! The others I would find special home forming my friends and family. Though the arts with children book might be fun to use with my little brothers when they come to visit… They play way too many video games!

  92. Hi! Lovely. Just lovely. Even if you don’t pick me, thank you for the recommendation for the Crafts and Activities to do with kids book. I’m an art teacher, but I’m more of a crafter myself and I LOVE adding it to my mix. One of the things I think I will love so much about this book is it’s awesome “vintage” projects. I remember doing stuff like that with my mom and you just can’t beat the kind of memories that are created from doing projects like those. I also love the DIY of old school handmade/limited resources. I love that it forces kids to be creative. I would love to have a handy resource of things that I can use with the kids that I teach so they can have great memories of art/craft making and hopefully they will pass it on! It would be so sad to see these great projects die out. P.S. I think I will love the other books just as much and will treat them all equally.

  93. Homemade Fun! This is a perfect book! I nanny two kids (ten and six) and it’s not that we don’t have fun together or run out of things to do but I love introducing them to new activities, (sometimes it’s hard to break them of video games or the computer.)
Recently I took them to the library, which they loved, and we checked out a kid friendly, Star Wars themed cook book. Now “Yoda Soda’s” are the new thing in their house. I think it’s fun to break out of the ordinary and do something special even if it is just making an ice cream float with a fun title.
Homemade Fun would add that special touch to an otherwise ordinary Tuesday afternoon; I might just buy this now πŸ˜€

  94. All of them sound fantastic but I’d really like Homemade Fun. I’m always on the lookout for new projects to do with my 4-year-old.

  95. ooo…touch decision, but I think I’d have to go with “Sewing Bits and Pieces.” I always save scraps of fabric, sure that I’ll do something with them someday…and then I never do! Maybe this book would be just the push I need. Thanks for sharing your stash!

  96. I would love to read more of Whip Up Mini Quilts. I have a collection of t-shirts that I wore in high school before I realized that more clothes existed than just t-shirts and jeans. I have been wanting to make a quilt with them so I can still enjoy the different designs without having to wear the shirts. Most of the designs are original artwork or Threadless designs so I know it would add the modern and creative touch I need to my dorm room.

  97. I think the small stash sewing would be a fun book, I am still learning to sew and do little things here and there…

  98. The one that appeals to me most would be: Small Stash Sewing: 24 Projects Using Designer Fat Quarters because I have accumulated a collection of fat quarters that I would like to put to good use but I lack the imagination to do so. This book would be a big help. I know that my husband would be enthralled with the Lists book right away! lol

  99. Hard to choose from such a nice group, but I’ve been eyeing the Whip Up mini-quilt book for awhile (and trying to win it, unsuccessfully!). And I saw an exhibit at the Smithsonian of some of the lists…very cool. Thanks!

  100. With 2 kids, no memory and no time the mini quilt and the stash book look like they would get the most use, but the list book is right up my alley

  101. They are all awesome. It is so hard to say which I like most, but I think I am most interested in Homemade fun. I am always looking for fun things to do with my kids.

  102. I’d love the Small Stash and Sewing Bits books but I’m pretty tempted by the big book of things to do with kids! I think any of them would be fantastic!

  103. I’m digging the Homemade Fun: 101 Crafts and Activities. My kiddo and I are always on the lookout for toddler-friendly projects to occupy our lazy Sunday afternoons – fab!

  104. oh what fun! They all look terrific. Homemade Fun would be my first choice, I think. We’re always looking for fun craft projects to do with our girls. Of course, Sewing Bits and Pieces would probably save my marriage πŸ™‚ My hubbie is so sick of all the fabric scraps kicking around our bedroom. Thanks!

  105. As a beginning sewer (is that the right terminology??? seamstress??) I would love to get my hands on small stash sewing, as the idea of ruining a large piece of fabric is still intimidating me away from creating full-on outfits!

  106. Sewing Bits and Pieces…I’ve been looking at this book for a while now and would love to add it to my colletion! I have bags and bags of scraps, my some of my favorite outfits from when my kids were little and random bits and pieces here and there all over the place that I would love to find a use for. πŸ™‚

  107. Really hard to decide…but I guess the fabric scraps would be my favorite, I’ve got plenty of cute scraps from quilting and plenty of holes in my jeans! πŸ˜›

  108. I would absolutely love to win this stash of what looks like awesome books. The one that looks the most interesting to me is “Small Stash Sewing” by Melissa Averinos because….believe it or not….I won a stash of gorgeous scrap material from her a while back and I’m waiting for the perfect project to use it for.

  109. i’m curious about the lists book- i love to see how people organize their thoughts. plus, i’m a nanny and would really enjoy the homemade fun book to share with the kidlets!

  110. I like the kid’s craft book. I have tons of craft books, but it would be nice to have one my kids could look at and tell me what they want to make.

  111. Whip Up Mini Quilts has been on my wish list for awhile. I love to make quilts but I often get bored before finishing a full size quilt.

  112. Sewing Bits and Pieces looks like a lot of fun. Very shabby chic and very do-able – for many skill levels. I have lots of scraps myself. While some of my scrap projects turn out okay, others didn’t fare so well in the transition from my head to my hands. It’s nice to have direction sometimes!

  113. Sewing Bits and Pieces … please!!! i would LOVE to have fresh ideas for all the ‘treasures’ i still have stashed in my sewing closet … and under my bed … and in my son’s bottom dresser drawer now that he’s moved out …. πŸ™‚ please?

  114. I am a HUGE fan of porabellopixie!! So, I would think that Sewing Bits and Pieces by Sandi Henderson would be the most interesting to me! =) Thanks!!

  115. Oh, what a great giveaway! I love all of the books. I would really love to get my hands on the Small Stash Sewing. I have a ton of leftover pieces of fabric I could use some new creative ideas of how to use them. Thank you for creative such a fun collection!

  116. oh my! I love the sound of all the books!! however – I have the hardest time parting with my scraps – I have a scarp bag from when I first started sewing in highschool!! I would love to do something productive with them instead of filling up my craft stash.

  117. I love new project ideas, especially for small bits and scraps of fabric, but I’m actually really intrigued by Lists….I’d love to get a little sneak peak into the minds of some really great artists…maybe it will help me make more creative grocery lists.

  118. I really think Lists: To-dos, Illustrated Inventories, Collected Thoughts, and Other Artists’ Enumerations from the Collections of the Smithsonian Museum
    – by Liza Kirwin and published by Princeton Architectural Press looks so interesting. I love to know what inspires artists and people in general. Each of these books seems amazing though, and I would LOVE to have any one of them. Having them all would just be abundant bliss.

  119. Small Stash Sewing – for me this would be perfect – small do-able projects during the big quilts – a welcome break

    thanks for the giveaway !

  120. Love the first book Sewing Bit and Pieces: 35 Projects Using Fabric Scraps – by Sandi Henderson and published by Wiley. I’m always looking for creative ways to use up bits and pieces! I would love a copy of this book! Pick me! Pick me!!

  121. Oh gosh, I want these books! What a great giveaway.

I’m taking the Home Ec class (from Freckled Nest) and, as a total newbie to sewing, I have ZERO sewing books. So the first two (Sewing Bits & Pieces and Small Stash Sewing) definitely sound the most useful to me at the moment.

After the Home Ec class, I’m sure I’ll have LOTS of fabric scraps and fat quarters lying around and it looks like these books will give me lots of project ideas for them!

  122. All the books sound fab, but I’d especially love Sewing Bits and Pieces: 35 Projects Using Fabric Scraps. The reason: I am a maniac for fabric, buy remnants all the time, and can never figure out what to do with them! This book was written for me! Thanks.

  123. The Mini Quilts book sounds the most interesting to me! I have started quilting a bit, and have been wanting to purchase that book! Yay!

  124. Homemade Fun: 101 Crafts and Activities to Do with Kids, I like to have activities for my step-son that don’t involve tv.

  125. The mini-Quilt book is my favorite. After making my first baby quilt, I’ve been dying to do more, but am intimidated to start a full-size blanket!

  126. I’d have to say the small stash sewing. I’m overflowing with scraps right now and this would be a great way to use them!

  127. All of these books look great but I’m particularly interested in Sewing Bit and Pieces: 35 Projects Using Fabric Scraps. I just can’t seem to throw my scraps away! They are so pretty. Would love to find more projects to use them on. Thanks! πŸ™‚

  128. Homemade Fun: 101 Crafts and Activities to Do with Kids- by Rae Grant and published by Macmillan
would be my first choice so that I can come up with some new ideas for the neighborhood children that I like to craft with when I feel up to it.

  129. While they all look great, I think the one that caught my immediate interest is Sewing Bit and Pieces: 35 Projects Using Fabric Scraps
    – by Sandi Henderson and published by Wiley. This weekend I was setting up my craft studio and realized I have tons of fabric scraps & not alot of ideas.

  130. The 101 Crafts to do with Kids sounds most interesting to me because I teach a preschool class and this would give me great ideas for art projects!

  131. I would love Whip Up Mini Quilts. I am dying to make a wall of mini quilts. I’ve got a start on two so far and this will give me some great ideas.

  132. the mini quilts book looks great! it seems like it would be a help to me in planning a manageable project that I would feel great about completing!

  133. Oh goodness oh goodness! I have been wanting all those books! Small Stash Sewing will be worn out after I get it! i have a HUGE stash of small pieces that i need to make things with!!

  134. I’ve been wanting to purchase the Mini Quilts book for a while now since I’m a bit obsessed with small size quilting projects, including doll quilts. But I also really like the idea of having some patterns for using all the fabric scraps that are taking over my sewing room.

  135. I would really like to win the activity book to do with children! I would use it with my kids on rainy days =)

  136. The book that sounds the most interesting is “Sewing Bits and Pieces. I have two bins full.

  137. ooo… I love lists! but I also have a ton of scrap fabric that I’m itching to use, so the Sewing Bits and Pieces sounds so wonderful!!

  138. I put Sewing Bits and Pieces on my Amazon Wish List as soon as I found out about it. I hate to throw anything away and would love to make some projects using my scraps.
But if I had to choose just one, it would be the Lists book. It sounds fascinating, especially since recently I’ve been making more and more lists, tracking my daily activities and the objects I make in a week.

  139. awesome!
these all sound wonderful, and right up my alley… i’ve got lots of fabric sraps (and desperately need to jump start my sewing again), kids to entertain and play with, have been eyeing the mini-quilt book for some time, and am a total list-addict.
i would love to check them out!
thanks for the chance and your generous giving πŸ™‚

  140. Oh, pick me! The book on mini quiliting sounds most interesting to me, as I am ready to begin my first forray into the craft. I’m preparing for a craft bazaar in the fall and wanted to have a handmade table cloth to display my wares. This book would be a great help as I get started with the project!

  141. I like the idea of the Lists book. I think it would be interesting to follow the thread of an isignificant practice (list-making) through various historically important moments.
