Happy Friday and what better way to celebrate than to win one of these lovely pillow covers from Green Rainbow (and made by Home to Roost). Green Rainbow carries all sorts of eco-conscious goodies, many of which are handmade and indie-made. In addition to home decor items, there’s clever toys, stuff for guys, homewares and more.

When Eva, who runs the show over at Green Rainbow, offered up one of these pillow designs for a giveaway I jumped at the chance, since I just knew you folks would love them! It’s especially timely since I am guest blogging over on the artist’s blog who creates the pillows.

  6. out of the ones pictured, i like the tree one best. i found one of the designer’s shop called ‘leafy green and mint fern 20 inch wool pillow’ which i think would be my favorite!

    “Think Green” is my favorite because it is cheerful and meaningful and it will remind me of my commitment.

  11. I LOVE the tree pillow with the fabulous bursts of color. It will look so great in my completely neutral living room, that is just waiting for the perfect statement piece.

  13. I’d have to go with Whimsy Swallows. I’m definitely on a bird kick these days. If the colors went with my stuff better I’d probably have gone with Tree Splash though 🙂

  14. I would have to say I love the Handmade pillow, I just bought handmade nation on dvd, so if I had that pillow I would cuddle with it while watching handmade nation and jotting down all the items I want while simultaneously watching.

  16. I’m having a hard time picking between the great graphic Tree Splash or the simple awesome Handmade one! They are both awesome. I will bring it to our new apt. in June when we move and place it on a thrifted couch. ^_^

  19. I love the Tree Splash pillow…it would bring so much color to our living room! We haven’t started painting our new house and everything is still so neutral, so ‘not us.’ This would add some personality! The Splashing Whale is great, too…a good snuggling pillow 🙂

  30. I love the turquoise owl on the green background. I’ve surrounded myself with beautiful handmade things in my little 1940s house in a very eco-conscious community. Many of the things are things that I myself have made, but I also have things handmade by others as well. The owl will go in my bedroom.

  32. I love the Hoot Owl one and it would either be used in my baby daughter’s owl/tree/bird themed bedroom or on my pumpkin colored sofa in my sunroom. 🙂

    “Birdhouse handmade 20” pillow cover”
    is my favorite. It would look great on an over-sized chair in the library!

  43. I LOVE the HANDMADE pillow! I’m an artist myself and feel it is so important to support local artists as well as fill your home with handmade items. This pillow would go right on my sofa as a reminder to everyone (& myself) to keep creating. 🙂

  49. I love all things owly, so I definitely think I want the hoot owl pillow! I would put him on my bed, right next to the stuffed owl that my mum gave me for my birthday.

  50. I would pick the one with the birdhouse and put it on my back porch. My husband made lots of tiny birdhouses and I have them on my backporch between the windows.

  57. These are beautiful pillows! Love them all, I guess my favorite one is the the two birds, but really they are all wonderful! If I win, I will donate the pillow to a wonderful church I know that is currently seeking donations for a silent auction, they are working on establishing an interdenominational center for Spirituality. Any of these pillows would be perfect for them, as the church is also very environmentally aware, sponsors free cycling of books to keep them out of the landfill and recycles, etc. Thanks for the opportunity to enter this great contest!

  65. It’s a tough choice, but I think I like the “whimy swallows” on best. I’m moving soon (when I get married in 2 months!) so it’s a great time for new decor that we BOTH love, and I think that one would do the trick. 🙂

My favourite by far is the blue swallow ong, but the ones with the owl and tree are gorgeous too. 🙂 I even have a pillow of the right size lying around that doesn’t have a cover! I’ve been looking for one for ages! I would put it on my daggy couch, to try and jazz it up a little. 😀

  98. These are beautiful, simple put. Should I be lucky enough to win, I’d choose the bird house pillow. My wedding is in May and I have designed the invites, programs, table numbers, cake topper, etc. all with a bird theme and am using a special bird house icon I drew. This pillow would sit in our house and bring back so many wonderful memories from our wedding day! Thanks for the give-away opportunity. 🙂

  109. I would love to own the Whale pillow. To be honest, I would probably cuddle with the pillow a lot. I don’t really cuddle stuffed animals, but I do indeed cuddle pillows–and this one looks especially wonderful!

  135. My favorite Greenrainbow pillow cover is the Buzzing about Bee. My daughter loooooooooooves honey and the pillow would be a great decor for her still very plain room.
    My grandparents are beekeepers and some of my loveliest childhood memories are surrounded with the aroma of warm honey.
