in like a lion and out like a lamb

You know that saying about March? That it’s in like a lion and out like a lamb? Well, in my experience in my neck of the woods, it’s actually quite different and today is no exception. After a long month of cold and some serious snow here in the Mid-Atlantic, the temperatures are actually quite balmy (well 50 degrees is balmy for mid-winter). And, I’m quite sure sure that the end of the month will find me complaining about some bone-chilling cold.

  1. These portraits are so cool!

We had a cold day today- I’m hoping we do get our warmer temps soon. I am starting to hate our weatherman.

  2. Maybe my memory is failing me, but I seem to recall spring starting RIGHT at the beginning of March here in Austin TX. Blooms & sunshine mixed with a little rain – but I’m able to rock my flip flops. Not the case this year. We’re still having lows in the 30’s.. I’m hating it. But – as always I’m loving Ryan’s illustrations.

  3. I know exactly what you mean . . . we had over 5ft of snow in one week in February and today the sun is shining . . . lets hope this is the start of Spring, I’m ready.
