Paper packages all tied up with string!

I love how my wrapped presents turned out. I used standard recycled brown paper wrap that I bought at the  5 & 10 store. I also cut out snowflakes from some pretty blue paper from Jessica Pilar and mod-podged them to the packages after wrapping them. I think they are rustically elegant, if I do say so myself.  Did you do anything special with your packages this year?

  1. these are beautiful! i wrapped all mine is recycled materials from around the house. brown paper bags for boxes with rafia and cinnamon stick bows, and for the bags i used transparent lunch bags (you know the kind that you can make lanterns out of, left overs from my wedding) and rafia and cinnamon sticks for the bows. then for all the tags i used a stack of cardstock that had been used to practice lithiographing…i had been saving them for “something special”.

  2. absolutely beautiful! just wish I knew how to cut snowflakes like yours!

I do something similiar when wrapping items from my shop. I use recycled packaging paper that I’ve stamped all over with my shop’s logo, and tie it with hemp twine instead of tape.
