12 Days of Indie Holiday Shopping 2009 – Ink + Wit

For regular readers of the blog, you know that I am a fan of artist Tara Hogan’s shop Ink + Wit. I’ve featured her work many, many times and Tara has participated in the 12 days of Indie Holiday Shopping since the beginning, and this year is no exception.

One of my personal favorites from Ink +Wit are the Aesop’s Fables prints. I have the whole collection and there are still a few left in Tara’s Etsy shop. Tara has also recently come out with a new Aesop’s Fables Hare and Tortoise Poster, which I am coveting and you could win!  See the details below.

Besides the Aesop’s Fables poster, shoppers will find other prints and posters to choose from as well as lots of great letterpress & other goodies. The 2010 letterpress calendar would make a particularly lovely gift for an art and/or letterpress lover, but make sure to take a look around and see what all the pretties.

To win: To win an Aesop’s Fables Hare and Tortoise Poster, leave a comment below with your Ink + Wit (Etsy shop) favorites for yourself and your giftees. You can share goods from both the website and Etsy shop. Multiple entries will be accepted, but you must leave a comment for each entry, i.e. if you find 3 favorites, then leave 3 separate comments. This will increase your chances for winning.

I will choose one random commenter to win. This contest ends December 11th at 11:59 pm EST.

  1. Elephant postcard is my favorite – my son would love receiving that in the mail, might purchase some now!

  2. I adore the A to Z animal poster. We are having a little boy in May and these are exactly the colors we want for the nursery..perfect!

  3. Conversations with Polar Bears is such a sweet print! It reminds me of a photo my parents have had on their fridge for years.

  4. I would definitely love some of the letterpress Peel and Stick labels as I’m sending so many cards and packages these days (and not just for Christmas).

  5. I really love the “Happy Birthday Monkey” cards — too cute!!! Thanks for the great giveaway

  6. My favorite print has to be the “Pommebirds” print! I love the red and white, and I love, love birds! Thanks for sharing, have a Merry Happy Holiday Season!! xoxo

  7. “Animal A-Z Poster” nicely colored…great for a kid’s room or also wonderful for a study/library space…

  8. Great collection of artwork! My personal favorite is the Tortoise and Hare illustration. I have a special affinity with the tortoise and often think of this fable when I get to thinking I’m not doing stuff fast enough…

  9. I ALSO THINK THE “HAPPY BIRTHDAY MONKEY” CARD IS FANTASTIC. OUR DAUGHTER’S ROOM IS FULL OF MONKEYS AND THESE WOULD BE WONDERFUL TO HAVE ON HAND.

  10. But for myself, the standout is definitely the ‘Thanks for being so dear’ thank-you cards…so beautiful & sweet. Thank-you cards (especially ones that combine such a lovely lightheartedness but also sincerity) are stationary essentials :):)
