I often wonder how/why I get sucked in. Sometimes, even when the movie is bad, I continue watching even though I am feeling dumber by the minute. Hmm. When I do watch something on TV, I want to follow every nuance, which is what 1st attracted me to tivo - being able to pause a show while attending to something, and pick up where I left off. Then because I had a show recorded, I realized I didn't have to watch it right away - it would wait for me til I was ready. The cool thing is that now I am really selective about what I watch, I actually watch LESS TV, but when I do I enjoy it thoroughly (and I never watch commercials!) Good Luck!
