My recession garden: Zinnias!

I just weeded my front flower garden, had it really been a month since I last did it? I’m sorry pretty flowers, I really do love you! Since they are weed free now, I thought I’d share my lovely zinnias with you. The bees have been all over them and lately the prettiest moths & butterflies as well…I’ve been trying to get a picture of them, but they are very skittish.

I just want to add that I grew them from seeds that I purchased from High Mowing Seeds, an organic seed company committed to a more sustainable world. They do not sell any Monsanto products.

Zinnias are my favorite garden flowers and I’m kicking myself that I didn’t plant any this year. I’m so jealous of your beauties 🙂

I’ve discovered the love of zinnias and dahlias this year myself. Such beautiful flowers with not a lot of fuss.
