August’s Feed Your Soul: the free art project Monday downloads

The Feed Your Soul downloads are back after a short hiatus for my vacation! I know you guys missed them.

There are two downloads today, one each from Janice Jong & Angela Vandenbogaard. I chose to feature their contributions today for the structural nature of them both—one architectural  in theme and other one natural.

I also updated the Schedule of Artists. We are now scheduling into November, so if you are an artist and would like to submit your work for consideration, just send an email with your url or 1-2 images of your work.

Janice Jong – Janice creates from a corner of her little home in London with a cup of tea and mp3s playing on repeat. Her work is the stuff of urban everyday life with a fantastical edge. You can see more of her work in her Shop and on her Flickr page and visit her blog.

Angela Vandenbogaard – Angela is the artist behind Jellybeans & is based in Ontario, Canada where she lives with her furry kitty. She is a self taught artist with a heavy science background (Bachelor of Medical Sciences, and working on a Dipolma in Medical Radiation Technology), using her artwork as an escape to a different sort of creative world. Besides her watercolor artwork, she loves dabbling in various other mediums & styles always seeking out new ways to express herself. You can follow her on her blog & see more artwork in her Etsy shop and on flickr.

  1. Oooh Ooooh Oooh! I love love love jellybeans. I’ve been wanting several of her pieces for such a long time. I’m printing this one immediately. Wait, let me make sure I’ve got a nice new ink cartridge. 🙂 Thank you Angela! Thank You Indie Fixx! Thank you Feed Your Soul. I link up to you all quite a bit for I feel it’s a blessing.

Janice, I’m totally digging your piece, too – sorry I got a little star struck though seeing Angela’s work here!

  2. Have I mentioned that I LOVE this project? I have some serious plans for getting that skyline up in my living room!
