There’s a music & book shop in my town that I like frequent called Rainbow. They are an independently owned store that’s been in business since the 70’s and one I’ve been going to since I was a kid. Indie is pretty important to them too and as a result they had these bumper stickers made up with the slogan ” Save America! Shop Indie!”. I have one hanging up in my office/studio (see it below). Well, I was inspired to make a cross stitch pattern based on the bumper sticker, after getting their permission of course.
Here’s what I came up with. Download a free printable pattern HERE!

Here’s the original Rainbow bumper sticker. You can see I added some color to mine.
What do you think? Please share if you end up using it.
This is great, I will link to this!
Hiya, neighbor!
I immediately thought of Rainbow when I saw the first picture on the Craft: blog. I, too, am a lifelong patron of Rainbow and I was reading, I thought there was no way it could be the same one! But it is! I had no idea this wonderful website was based in my hometown 🙂
Very cool! I think I’ll give it a shot in the next couple of days. 🙂
I think that is SO cute. Hope to try it myself! 🙂
What a lovely idea! Thanks so much for sharing this pattern with us! I’ll be linking to this.
