I am a child of the 70’s and I saw a lot of macrame growing up…my grandmom made enough plant hangers to fill her house 12 times over. As uncool as macrame became after the 70’s, I still secretly liked it. I’m glad to see it has made a resurgence as all of us Sesame Street kids have grown up and have gotten crafty.
Macrame Owl Wall Hangings from Tamara Maynes of The Six Week Boutique and from her To John Denver With Love collection. Discovered while catching up with several weeks of Design*Sponge yesterday evening.
How cool! I love John Denver songs…. and I made a macrame owl in the 70s when I was in elementary school!
ohhh… super super cute!
