Hey I am back from my time off and oh so glad to be back! I have some great stuff lined up for you this week, but first here’s what My Recession Garden looked like last week. Remember what it looked liked just 3 weeks ago? It’s a veritable jungle of vegetable plants in comparison to that, and so far it looks healthy and is pest free. I’m using completely organic methods and haven’t really done much to it besides mix in some rich humus and mulch it with compost. I will share some pics later in the week of how much it’s grown just since last week when I took this picture!

I don’t have a recession garden that’s as big as yours but I have 2 recession plants in a pot at the front of my house – tomato and habanero pepper — yes my husband is trying to mix the two 🙂
Will take a photo soon and share with ya! It’s been only a few weeks but they’re growing like crazy (all organic methods too). Thank goodness Canada is finally getting some sun!
