Homage to the surf

I am obsessed with surfing and surf culture, and have been since I was about 10 years old, but I’ve never been surfing. I know that’s kind of lame, but it’s just never worked out for me. I am content to listen to my surf music, watch surfing documentaries, read surfing books (okay read that one when I was 10), drool over The Surfer’s Journal and browse Etsy for surfing art.  Some day, I will make it to Hawaii to watch big wave surfing though.

Oh, the things you don’t know about me people. 😉

Anyway, since this weekend marked the unofficial start of the summer season (at least in the Northern Hemisphere) I thought I’d pay a little homage to the surf.
