Good morning! I’m in a super good mood this morning. I needed a day off and it was good to be able to take it. Now, I’m rejuvenated, inspired and ready to be back at work.
Later today, I will be sharing a totally new feature as well as the latest Feed Your Soul downloads, but first here are some pics from the past few days of my life.
Firstly, here are my Mother’s Day flowers. Most of you don’t know that I have a kid, I don’t really talk much about her here on Indie Fixx since I don’t want to invade her privacy, but I do have a daughter and she bought me the loveliest flowers. I just love yellow and purple together!
Here’s my Recession Garden all planted…I transplanted everything yesterday. I’ve been waiting to do it for about two weeks, but it rained for like 10 days straight here and I had to wait for the ground to dry out. Everything looks like it’s doing well, so keep your fingers crossed for me. We ended up not going the raised bed route, we decided our soil and drainage was good. Here’s what I planted: beets, lettuce, squash, broccoli, tomatoes and some marigolds. Can’t wait for all those tomatoes!
I also have some herbs in pots on the deck…they are really taking off. I’ve planted: oregano, dill, basil, cilantro, thyme & rosemary.
Finally, I initiated some goodie swaps with some of my Twitter friends. We swapped homemade or indie made goods for under $15. I sent some jewelry pieces that I had made as well as some other little items that I’ve accumulated from other shops. Here’s what I’ve received so far. Cards and magnets from Inkspot Workshop, cards and mini lavender pillows from Mireio, and magnets and pins from Elpy.
Good luck on your gardening. BTW thank you soooo much for the ‘Feed Your Soul’ posters.
Thanks, Sisi. I will be keepin’ everyone posted about it.
What a great swap! Looks like you got some very cool items!

I love your little garden there 🙂 I’m not much of a planter, but I did a little pot of cosmo flowers or something, I see little green leaves coming out ^_^
