Stick a toe in

I love the quirky simplicity of the porcelain vessels of the Askew collection from Pigeon Toe Ceramics.

TGIF: Thank God for Illustration Friday - Love

Oh, I am so much in love with Love, the new art book on one of my favorite themes. Love is curated by Samantha Hahn and includes contributions from 25 artists and writers, including some of my favorites. It’s available through blurb for $16.95 for a softcover, $25.95 for a hardcover with a dust jacket and  $27.95 for hardcover with “image wrap.” It contains 40 pages of incredible art & some amazing writing.

I really don’t need anything else from my Valentine.  Please let him know, will ya?

It’s a Greener Day!

greener_day1.jpg

I am accepting applications for the next Indie Fixx Galleria called ‘A Greener Day’ & I’m looking for shops with spring and green  inspired goods to reflect the upcoming spring season as well as Earth Day, Easter & St. Patrick’s Day. The A Greener Day Galleria will run from March 5th - April 22nd and the deadline to apply is February 28th. The cost to participate is $50.

Email to apply or for more info.

The Indie Fixx Galleria is a showcase of indie goods or an ‘indie mall’ featuring a juried mix of indie designers, crafters, artists & indie boutiques that carry indie-made goods.

Periodically throughout the year, I put together a new Galleria around a theme to provide a curated shopping experience, just like at ‘the mall’, but only featuring independently made goods.

Check out the current Valentine’s Day Galleria.

Newness from Nea

I was checking out the blog of one of my Twitter followers the other day (Tomorrow or Today) and it made me click over to see the latest Wall Wear from Nea. Oh, so lovely.  I am so glad that Janick decided to branch out beyond jewelry, although her jewelry is quite lovely as well. You know me, I couldn’t pick just one to share.
