12 Days of Indie Holiday Shopping 2008: Happy Owl Glassworks

I’ve long loved the work of Tracy Bull, the artist behind Happy Owl Glassworks, and I’m happy to be sharing her work with you for ‘12 Days of Indie Holiday Shopping’.

Both an illustrator and a glass artist, I think Tracy is really a naturalist at heart. Case in point, I’m sure you are familiar with her Badge Menagerie (which would make great little stocking stuffers). If you aren’t familiar with Tracy’s work yet, visit her shop and  you’ll see what I mean.

In addition to the Badge Menagerie, Tracy’s glass cufflinks, nightlights & prints would also make really wonderful gifts.  To sweeten the deal, Tracy is offering free shipping on all orders until Nov 30th (no code is necessary).

Another sweet deal…be entered to win a complete set of Happy Owl Glassworks prints.  There are 8 prints (valued at $10 each) and you will receive one each.

To win: Leave a comment below with your favorite Happy Owl Glassworks goodies. Multiple entries will be accepted, but you must leave a comment for each entry. This will increase your chances for winning!

I will choose one random commenter to win the prize. This contest ends Wednesday, November 26th at 3pm EST.

THE ENTRY PERIOD FOR THIS CONTEST HAS ENDED! Stay tuned for the winner. Click here to enter the current ‘12 Days of Indie Holiday Shopping’ Contest.

  1. If I ended up with a set of all 8, at least the baby owls and the super owl prints would be framed and in my office at work!

  2. The CUFFLINKS are very nice. I think I’m going to definately consider these when buying for my guy friends this Christmas. =)

  3. I like the little tiny owl plates- I can just imagine putting little desserts on there. And I love the nightlights. When I was a kid I would have killed for the owl one!

  4. I Love Owls too! My Dad is a Park Ranger and has an “Owl collection” Nothing is cuter than a grown man with a ceramic owl collection. So, I like the Super Owl Print first…

  5. The jack rabbit night light is awesome… it would go well in kids rooms and big kids rooms… and my room 🙂

  6. Okay…one more 😀

This should be obvious but I totally forgot to mention that I really like this site and it has been great in helping me find gifts for the holidays that won’t burn a large hole in my pocket!

  7. It’s a new day…why not one more entry! These prints are right up my alley and perfect for my taste in decorating that is usually described as eclectic?

  8. The Etsy site has these wonderful “Great Gray Owl” patches that would be nice on a bag or a jacket. May have to make a little purchase.

  9. the Jack rabbit night light would be so much nicer than the hideous plastic thing I am using as a nightlight now.
What was that William Morris said about not having anything in your house that isn’t beautiful or useful?

  10. I’d love one of the Great Grey Owl tiny dishes. After reading all the Harry Potter books, multiple times, I really love owls now. Maybe because I like getting mail.

  11. Gasp! I love owls! Love, love, love! So obviously, I’m smitten with this store. It’s nearly impossible to pick faves, but the nightlight is definitely one of ’em!

  12. Without being completely one sided…the owls are very cute too although I must admit..I’ve never owned an owl.

  13. Oh bunny! The jackrabbit reminds me of my adorable vagabond bunny who is away on holiday (long explanation…):) These are all very beautiful!

  14. My favorite are the greyhound badges. I have one and have given them to a few other people who I know care about my black greyhound. Love her work!

  15. The “Okapi Print” is very interesting. It would like wonderful hanging with my elephant and zebra prints. Thanks, Cindi

  16. I bought a Happy Owl nightlight for each of my (picky, hard-to-shop-for) sisters and brothers (7 in all)last Christmas. Everybody loved them! I kept one for myself because I love them too.

  17. Another wonderful items from her site is the “Robin Print!” Please enter me in your delightful giveaway drawing. Thanks…..Cindi

  18. I love the pink rabbit night light and the grouchy-looking owl in the complimentary colors 🙂
