Sweater Bags from Karen Meyers
A self-professed fabric junkie, Karen Meyers has collected quite a collection of new and pre-loved fabrics. She uses her fabric treasures to make the yummiest bags & accessories….. my favorites are created from recycled sweaters (especially the Large Ivory Cable Purse pictured above). Karen, who is part of the Indie Fixx Holiday Galleria, shared some before & after pictures with me and I, of course, just had to share them with you.
Sweater # 1 – A pretty mint green mohair was deconstructed and made into 2 sweet & lovely bags.
Sweater #2 – A bright multi-colored wool sweater was turned into 2+ really striking bags.
LOVE the bags, Karen! I remember when the green mint one was on Etsy. So beautiful. I saw that it has sold – to someone lucky!
