There’s been some unseasonably cooler weather where I live lately, temps have been in the low to mid 70s, and it got me thinking about fall and you know what fall means? Back to School! Long since gone are the days that I was in school, but I still remember the excitement, from kindergarten through college, of the first day of school…even for those 4 or 5 years that I hated school. School meant: an end to the late summer doldrums; new clothes and school supplies; reunions with friends; making new friends; art, theater & music classes; and later school was something to rebel against.
Anyway, before I go any further down memory lane, I’ve put together a fun ‘Back to School Guide’. It’s filled with all sorts of back to school goodies, mostly for teens and adults, but there will be some younger kids’ stuff as well. Each day this week, I will share a couple of categories from the Guide with you. Categories include: Dorm Life, Apples!, Supplies, Accessorize, What to Wear, For Guys, Lunchtime and Little Kiddos.

Hands down, my favorite item is the tattoo stockings. I’m probably the only person in Portland, Ore. without a tattoo, so if I ever felt the urge to blend in I’d need those to go incognito…
