It’s been 2 years – Indie Fixx’s 2nd Anniversary!

I’m celebrating Indie Fixx’s 2nd Anniversary this week! I know it doesn’t seem like it’s been two years, but I wrote my very first post on August 6th, 2006.  In the years since then, I’ve shared 1,099 posts with you, created 58 different categories for posts, debuted at least a dozen new features and had about 12 million contests!  Even though I’ve been supremely busy with all that, the time really has flown by and whether you are a die-hard reader from the beginning or you’ve only just discovered Indie Fixx, I love you all!

To celebrate my 2nd anniversary, if you are a regular reader you already know this, I’ve been posting secret words for the Indie Fixx 2nd Anniversary Giveaway since June 18th. I will share details on what to do with those secret words (and how to win) this Wednesday, August 6th.  I am also planning other fun stuff this week to commemorate my anniversary, including another contest and a brand new feature, so make sure to stay tuned.

Happy Anniversary! Congrats on all your hard work. I’m a new(er) reader, so I don’t have much feedback, except to say that I’ve really enjoyed the blog so far!

Congrats on your 2nd, Jen! I love having an interesting place to look for new indie picks… you do so much leg work for me! My favorite picks are almost always, (duh) housewares! The thing I’m starting to figure out though is that it’s really had to afford a house AND stuff to put in it too!

My favorite feature on Indie Fixx is Illustration Friday (and I also love contests. However, I do tend to skip any post that feature what crafters’ space look like.
