On Thursdays, I choose & share one reader’s inspirations with you. I love to read what inspires you all in art & life and I think you like to read about it to.

So, what inspires you? If you’d like to participate, all you need to do is share 3 things that inspire you…they can be 3 indie designers whose work you admire, 3 artists who inspire you to create, 3 flickr groups you belong to that inspire you to take photos, 3 blogs that are every day must reads, or whatever gets your creative juices flowing and makes your life more enjoyable and meaningful.

Today’s inspirations are from Becca. Becca lives in Baltimore and has just recently returned from a trip to Vienna, read her blog to learn about her trip.

I’m inspired by places….the atmosphere they create, and the feeling I get when I’m there. Two of my entries have to do with my creative development as a musician, which is unique to everyone, and so important. Places have a strong hold over my memory and mood, and these are the three of the strongest (outside of my mother’s kitchen!).

1.  The Austrian Gallery at the Belvedere Palace is one of the most beautiful settings for such powerful art I have ever seen. I’ll be traveling to Vienna in a week to spend some time in the Gallery, and the thought of walking through their breathtaking grounds is overwhelming.

2. These are some photos of Severance Hall, home of the Cleveland Orchestra. I played in the Cleveland Orchestra Youth Orchestra throughout high school, and it was on this stage that I absolutely fell in love with classical music. Looking at the walls of the main hall still reminds me of that.

3. All the time I’ve spent here adds up to about 2 years…Interlochen Center for the Arts was the place I first learned it was okay to immerse yourself in what you love. I grew up at Interlochen, physically, mentally, and musically. For me, it is probably the essence of my musical inspiration.
