I’m so there, sick, or not!

Some kind of winter sickness has gotten the better of me and after participating in two indie craft shows in one week, I’m worn out, wrung out, strung out and feel like staying in bed. But, I’m supposed to go to see Neil Young tonight and nothing is keeping me from going! I’m a huge Neil Young fan and no matter how tired and sore and feverish I feel, I’m going to the concert. Thank gawd, Mr. Indie Fixx is going too, so he can drive.

Here’s a Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young Vintage Concert Photo I found on Etsy by Moonrise Photographics.

  1. I did go and it was awesome! There were three sets, the 1st was his wife Pegi, then he did an totally solo acoustic set and finally the whole band came out and they rocked it.

What was very cool was that there was a painter on stage painting throughout the last set. He “announced” the next song by putting a painting on an easel at the front of the stage. He was also dressed as the devil from the movie Greendale that Neil did.

My favorite was when Neil did an acoustic version of Cowgirl in the Sand and when he did the Final Path, Cinnamon Girl and Like a Hurricane in the final set.

    He’s a great performer!
