Take a look at the new spring line from Laurel Wells. Her collection is obviously inspired by 1940s fashions, yet does not seek to duplicate that era, but create something fresh and contemporary. I like that her designs are sexy without being sex kittenish or revealing. There is something very hot upper society girl or naughty librarian about her collection. I also appreciate the neutral color palette, because it puts the focus on the designs themselves and in turn the wearer.
What a pretty collection. Seeing these designs and having watching Project Runway all day yesterday b/c of the snow, I wish I could sew!
