Remember how I told you that I was disappointed that the Pomegranate Bag by designer Sara Bee Jensen sold out from the Design*Sponge Shop? Well, starting with the new year, it’s available at Sara’s shop called Lost Bird Found. It’s made from hand-dyed canvas and I just love it! Thanks to Design*Sponge for posting about the update.

For those of you who have been living under a rock, Crafters for Critters is the charity brainchild of Melissa of Lekkner. The site was created to simultaneously support independent crafters and designers and raise money for animal rescue. Crafters donated everything available for sale in the shop and all the proceeds go towards animal rescue. If you like indie and want to help all the fluffy bunnies, greyhounds, kitties, cows, and even roosters then hop on over to Crafters for Critters. Holiday orders are still being accepted until December 18th.

I have a bag obsession—I just can’t get enough of them. I have more bags than I could ever use in one lifetime, but I still keep buying them. My latest find, is this Take me Out Bag by Sugar Cane and available at Bettyjoy. I’m thinking this should become my new bag for spring…or at least one of my new bags for spring!

I have found the softest baby blanket ever and it’s from Lucky Dog Designs. I purchased the retro inspired Blue Dot Special Bib, Burp & Blanket Set for a friend’s baby shower and I was so thoroughly impressed with the quality of everything and so was my friend. The blanket really is super soft and I think they need to think about making grown-up blankets too!

Looking for a few good designers who make and sell women’s accessories and clothing who are interested in filling one of my Guest Designer spots on Tilting Swiftly (Tilting Swiftly is my own independently designed jewelry and accessories shop). I am interested in bags, wallets, glass pendants, pins, scarves, belts, hair accessories, clothing, etc. If you also make jewelry, you must offer substantially different designs than my own.

I am looking for work that I feel complements my designs and would appeal to my customers offering them more opportunities to create and show off their own style.
